第八届北欧纪录片交流周（NORDOX）将于2013年10月25日在上海OCT当代艺术中心开幕。届时将举行为期一周的放映交流活动，广大观众将能欣赏到来自挪威，瑞典，丹麦，芬兰，冰岛的16部精心制作的当代纪录片。



本届NORDOX承接以往一贯的风格，一方面讨论北欧国家在全球化浪潮中面临的难题，另一方面，北欧导演始终对世界各地最紧迫的问题保持敏锐的触觉。影片《冰岛之梦》中所展现的环境危机，瑞典电影《海盗湾》揭秘全球最大P2P资源共享网站与好莱坞的版权纠纷。本届活动还特别挑选了一系列影片，展现了全球各个领域艺术家的人生起伏。瑞典导演执导的《王座背后的舞者》讲述编舞大师文森特•帕特森的故事，他曾造就一代传奇巨星迈克尔•杰克逊和麦当娜的舞台辉煌，但其生平却不为观众所知的；《凯伦•布里克森》是关于自称为“魔鬼的女仆”的丹麦小说家凯伦•布里克森的传记片.

This October, Nordic Documentary Film Festival (NORDOX) will celebrate its 8th anniversary in China with a selection of 16 films from all five of the Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland.



As in previous year, this year’s Nordic Documentary Film Festival continue to explore the social and culture challenges in the era of globalization all around the world. Swedish documentary The Pirate Bay presents the continuous dispute between the world's largest P2P file sharing website and Hollywood.This year’s film selection also turns the spotlight to a group of talented artists with their enchanting life stories. From the dancing floor in Hollywood where Michael Jackson once taught his best move (The Man Behind the Throne, Sweden), to the urban Helsinki in the 1980s when a new social attitude was emerging with a new generation of rock and punk musicians(Helsinki Twilight 1984, Finland), audience follow the documentary to dig into the artistic lives unknown to many.

北欧纪录片电影节（NORDOX）作为一个独立的非盈利组织，致力于促进中国与北欧五国文化的交流和发展。电影节每年挑选和展映来自北欧五国包括挪威，瑞典，芬兰，丹麦以及冰岛最具创造力和最前沿的纪录片和摄影作品，极力为观众提供一种独特的北欧视角，并且创造一个探讨社会问题的跨文化交流平台。

OCAT上海馆是致力于研究和展示中国当代媒体艺术的专业艺术中心。（实验建筑）


作为多功能展览中心，OCAT上海馆将展示国内外优秀、年轻艺术家的媒体艺术项目。由知名媒体艺术家张培力担任执行馆长，策展人玛丽娅·科斯坦蒂诺担任艺术总监，OCAT上海馆将为录像、摄影、声音艺术的创作经验和艺术观念提供对话、交流的平台。



NORDOX is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to presenting a unique Nordic perspective on society at large. Each year, we select a wide-range of creative and cutting-edged Nordic documentary films from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Our festival travels to the three most vibrant cities in China – Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and in 2012 alone, we hosted over 40 screenings and attracted a growing number of Chinese and international attendees .



OCAT Shanghai is committed to the presentation and exploration of Media Art in China.

OCAT Shanghai sets itself as a multifunctional centre for exposition of media project by Chinese and International artists, well-assessed and young ones. But OCAT Shanghai, under the supervision of the video artist Zhang Peili and the direction of the curator Mariagrazia Costantino, is also conceived as a platform for an articulated dialogue and exchange of experiences and perspectives in video, photography and sound.
