《占领舞台》文献展/ 《占领舞台》项目之四-提诺•赛格尔（Tino Sehgal）
《占领舞台》是一个持续进行中的艺术项目，由独立策展人Biljana Ciric发起，在一年多的时间内通过一系列活动、情境和事件来重新激活在过去十年当代艺术领域中一些重要的篇章。参与本项目的艺术家们将在上海不同空间完成各自关于现场的艺术项目，以进一步探索和呈现现场艺术的新的可能。
此次在《上海外滩美术馆‧工作室》展出的是前半年的项目文献和提诺•赛格尔（Tino Sehgal）的作品，文献展中包括了艺术家的作品现场和项目所引起的讨论，本展也将成为《占领舞台》重要的组成部分；
赛格尔的作品被称为“情境建构”（constructed situations），当在机构体制内发生时，作品试图打破艺术机构与观众之间教与学的关系，打造一种将话语权交给个人/观众的情境
提诺•赛格尔，1976年出生于英国伦敦，目前生活和工作在柏林，在2005年作为威尼斯双年展德国国家馆的代表艺术家，并于2005年获得巴塞尔艺术博览会授予的巴洛斯艺术奖，2006年被美国纽约古根海姆美术馆授予Hugo Boss艺术大奖，2012年奥运会期间他将于英国伦敦泰特现代美术馆漩涡大厅举行个展。
此次为上海的观众带来“这是新的”（This is New）和“这是交易”（This is Exchange）两件作品，本项目在上海当代艺术馆、民生现代美术馆、上海外滩美术馆展出，试图在中国艺术机构的语境中，为作品带来不同解读的可能性。

"Taking the Stage OVER" Archive Exhibit / “Taking the Stage OVER” presents Tino Sehgal
"Taking the Stage OVER" is a dynamic, year-long exhibition which organized by Biljana Ciric, independent curator. It attempts through series of events, situations, and happenings to activate an important chapter in the history of contemporary art of the last decade. The artists featured in this year-long ongoing exhibition will develop their own projects related to the stage and its various manifestations at multiple sites throughout Shanghai. Each month there is one project presented over the one year period of time.
The exhibit in RAM STUDIO includes two parts: "Taking the Stage OVER" Archive Exhibit and Tino Sehgal’s project. Archival presentation looks at the projects over the half a year from artists work documentation to discussions that project raised;
Sehgal’s work has been described as constructed situations, which, when they occur within the institutional system, attempt to break away or free from the pedagogical relation between the art institution and visitor, creating a situation where rhetorical power is given to the individual or audience.
Tino Sehgal was born in London in 1976. He currently lives and works in Berlin. He represented Germany at the Venice Biennale and received the Baloise Art Prize at Art Basel in 2005. In 2006 he was nominated for the Hugo Boss Prize at the Guggenheim Museum, New York. During Olympic period in 2012, his solo show will be shown at Gets Tate Turbine Hall, London. In Shanghai, Tino Sehgal brings two pieces: “This is New” and “This is Exchange” which was presented in three different museums as an ongoing, simultaneous project. These two pieces as presented by him in the specific environments of Chinese art institutions will provide the possibility for a very different reading of the pieces.
Tino Sehgals project has been supported by Goethe Institut and IFA (Institut fur Auslandsbeziehungen E.B)
