马丁·博伊斯（Martin Boyce）个展“恒星残骸（Stellar Remnants）”日前在柏林Johnen画廊举行。

马丁·博伊斯（Martin Boyce）的雕塑、摄影及装置作品受到了他对现代艺术、建筑和设计的参与的影响。他将乌托邦式的理想与现代愿景的现实之间的间隙压缩成了黑暗而又充满诗意的图像。在他的作品里，美好与失败、连同保护性的本质与自然力量一起塌陷成一团。在这次的展览里，马丁·博伊斯（Martin Boyce）首次以壁炉的形式为基础创作了一件雕塑作品。这里的“壁炉”通向另一个空间，给“炉边空间”的安全感增添了一种矛盾的氛围，让人联想到超现实主义。我们会联想到的其中一个参考物便是比利时超现实主义画家勒内·马格利特（René Magritte）的画作“Time Transfixed（La Durée Poignardée）”，在这幅画作里，一辆蒸汽机车从遮挡起来的烟囱里开进了房间。

带着生锈的铁链的可活动物体通过其与树木、自然过程的短暂性和必然性的关联增加了一种不确定性。这些作品像是一首首忧郁的诗歌，连它们的名字也都回应了这种情绪。
