这就是最终被提名的四位艺术家,他们的作品将在泰特不列颠(Tate Britain)展出至明年一月份,最终获奖者将得到2.5万欧元的奖励。
展览中最吸引人的就是她的巨大的写实雕塑:一个男人把他的手放在裸露的屁股上。大家纷纷开心地把它当成自拍背景墙。这件作品灵感来源于上世纪七十年代的一个艺术计划,设计师盖塔诺·派西(Gaetano Pesce)试图在曼哈顿的大楼里做一个裸男屁股型的门道。但很不幸,他没有实现。
作者汉密尔顿在艺术界一直被认为是一个带点幻想,有点疯疯癫癫的人,她经常弄出一些超现实主义或是好笑的流行文化作品,此次她获得提名是因为在纽约雕塑中心的一个展览“青苔!性欲!贞操!”(Lichen! Libido! Chastity!)这是汉密尔顿的另一件作品:
