ShanghART Moves to West Bund in November

香格纳画廊及其工作团队将于2016年11月正式迁至西岸艺术区的新空间。该空间依傍黄浦江而建，毗邻众多美术馆以及艺术机构。作为中国当代艺术史的见证者与探索者，在成立20周年之际移至新空间标志着香格纳画廊步入一个新的阶段，以其新的立意点持续致力于中国当代艺术。

Starting Nov 9, ShanghART gallery will be operating out of its own building on Shanghai’s West Bund, Shanghai new art district near the Huangpu river.

Shanghart West Bund Opening Exhibition

在入驻新空间之际，香格纳画廊将于11月9日推出开幕展《林中路》。林中路一词借鉴于德国哲学家马丁·海德格尔的同名著作。该展览将囊括众多声名远播的艺术家以及新锐艺术家的作品。《林中路》将回顾香格纳作为中国当代艺术史最直接的参与者与见证者在其二十年间不断探索的经历，并展现其持续发声的态势。更多详细资料将会陆续公布。

The opening exhibition, entitled ‘Holzwege’, is inspired by German philosopher Martin Heidegger’s work of the same title. The exhibition will include work by many artists, ranging from household names to emerging young artists. It will also examine the gallery’s history and its role as a pioneer and a witness of the development of Chinese contemporary art in the past two decades. (opening Nov 9th 2016)
