二、关于艺术家
吴俊勇 1978年出生，目前任教于中国美术学院, 游居北京杭州两个城市。参加过 2005 中国艺术三年展(南京博物馆),2006 中国之窗 韩国Arko美术馆), 2006 艺术游戏(深圳何香凝美术馆),2008 第三届广州三年展(广东美 术馆),2010 MADE IN POP LAND(韩国国立现代美术馆),2012第九届上海双年展(上海当代艺术博物馆),2013 ON | OFF:中国年轻艺术家的观念与实践, (尤伦斯当代艺术中心),2013 不合作方式2 (荷兰格罗宁根美术馆)等。

关于“水滴计划”之禁果
什么是“水滴计划”？对艺术家来讲很多时侯，一个小小的灵感就足以构成一件有趣的作品。“水滴计划”就是这样想法的收集容器，没有那种很复杂的大作品，而是轻松趣味化的碎片，犹如一滴水珠，映射着一个微观的世界，把它们聚集起来，就是一个万花筒。
这次活动的缘由是去年五月，一时兴起在MacBook外壳上画了个图案，拍照发布到互联网上，结果被大量转载，不少留言要求分享，建议做成贴纸。此事直到今年在一位韩国朋友的帮忙下，最终实现出来。
让我更感兴趣是，这种方式的创作脱离了封闭的“艺术圈”，而是基于大众传播学层面的做业，也是个人未来很重

B- About Artist
Wu Junyong wasborn in Fujian Province in1978. In 2000, he graduated from China Academy of Artin Hangzhou with a BFA in Printmaking. In 2005, he also earned his MFA in NewMedia Arts from the same school. Besides being a professional artist, Wu alsoteaches at School of InterMedia Art of China Academy of Art. Wu now livesand works in Beijing and Hangzhou. Since 2002, Wu has been exhibitingextensively at home and abroad. C-About Project
Why do I call it “DRIPS”? Itis something about a collective container for fragments. Every single GIFartwork is like a drip of water: tiny, yet still reflecting a micro-world. Whencollected and gathered all together, they would become an ocean, a kaleidoscopeof our mundane worlds.
As for an artist, sometimes asmall impulsion can be suffice to help him composite and finish an interesting,wholesome and complete artwork. The GIF artwork would be the best media of itskind.
The most buzzard andadventurous characteristic of the GIF artwork is that it is neither an imagenor a video, but something intermediate between them, which has the power ofstop frames from the image while still preserving the ability of storytelling inthe timeline from the video.
The GIF artwork can NEVERexist in means/media of paper, though computers and the internet would be itsmost suitable media, and I’d like to classify this project as “InternetArtwork”.
And at the same time, you cancollect all those digital artworks. Certainly, it is different from thecollection of the artworks in the real, physical world, it is an experimentabout virtual collection.
