Lu Pingyuan’s  solo exhibition- “ Not Included” will be shown in Hemuse Gallery in 20TH September 2012. As his first solo exhibition in Beijing, the artist tries to raise the notion from creativity to his works; he draws the audience’s attention through the symbolical expression.

Lu Pingyuan was born in Zhejiang Province in 1984. He graduated from Shanghai Institute of Design of China Academy of Fine Arts in 2007.He works and lives in Shanghai at the moment. His works has been widely shown in Shanghai and Beijing, which involves video, installation, painting and performance. The artist depicts his artistic language from diverse way; from the ordinary life to the essential meaning of art itself. In his work, we can discover playfulness yet serious way of seeing art.
