序言

  栋帆的创作是从介入城市公共空间开始的。
  三年时间里,栋帆完成了巨大体量的故事系列作品。座落于湖墅南路的作品《忐.忑》,当时引起了社会各界的热烈关注和讨论;五常荆长路的作品 《幸福在哪里》,纪录片应邀参加了42届Art Basel LISTE 16,展览期间来宾对作品的反馈是令人鼓舞的;意大利都灵 Torre Canavese 的大型绘画作品《Dream》,置挂在当地的学校里,陪伴着那里的孩子们成长………
  身为一个年轻的创作者,栋帆善于独立思考。创作源于自身对周遭环境和社会现状的自省意识,对生命的尊重和美好的祈愿。面对创作真诚坦然,尽力而不刻意。
  在艺术领域里,栋帆有着自己的价值体系,清晰自己要走的路。在这个什么都追求快速的时代,让自己沉下来并非易事。选择一条单纯做创作的路,的 确需要足够的勇气与坚持,同时也要敢于面对挑战。栋帆执着而坚毅的精神,令他的作品带给了我们一次又一次的惊喜和感动。客观面对时事,做真实的自己。用乐 观的心去理解这个对他而言似乎较为复杂的世界。
  今天栋帆的首次个展在清影开幕,多形式的创作呈现出他当下的思考和状态。此次个展《我们的生活比蜜甜》,完全介于他自身体验,探索‘宽容’。当我们随着栋帆的作品,感受他个体情绪的一刹那,有种错位的感觉。

   Foreword

  The art creation of Dongfan (棟帆) has been starting from intervention of city public space.

  In the past three years, Dongfan completed great amount of compositions of "Story" series: "Not Sure" in Hushu South Road (湖墅南路), which has got great attention of all walks of the life and invoked fierce discussion; "Where is Happiness" in Jingchang Road (荊長路), Wuchang (五常); the documentary of his creation, which has been invited to Art Basel LISTE 16 and receiving inspiring feedback during the exhibition; large scale painting "Dream" in Torre Canavese, Turino, Italy, which is hung in the local school, accompanying those children to grow up...

  As a young creator, he is good at independent thinking, all his creation is originated from his self-reflection of the surroundings and social reality, the respect of the life and wonderful wishes. His attitude towards the creation is sincere yet open, trying his best while not deliberately.

  Dongfan has his own value system in the art, he knows what he is looking for. In this times that everyone pursuits speed, it is not easy to let oneself sit down and do something. To choose a route of pure creation, it requires sufficient braveness and insistence, facing challenges at the same time, really. Dongfan has great persistent spirit and determining heart. Both has given us surprising and moving again and again. Facing the real-time event objectively, following his real inner-self, he has been trying to understand the outside world that seems a bit complex to him with a optimistic mind.
  
This is the first solo of Dongfan at Inna Contemporary Art Space, the multiple formats of his creation represent his thinking and status at the very moment. The exhibition "Our Life is Sweeter than Honey" totally based on his self experience to explore "Forgiveness". Let's follow his artworks to experience his individual emotion and sentiment in the flash, feeling the dislocation at the mean time.

艺术家自述

  不同于以往的公共空间绘画需要关注作品与人、环境和自然的关系,室内空间的展览更多的是与内心的沟通,个展使我沉静了许多。
  
  很自然的,故事系列从关于“幸福追寻”的思考,开始了关于”宽容“的自省。
  宽容于我,有特殊的意义。
  
  当然,事情并没有期待中那么乐观。开始的自我感动迅速瓦解,取而代之的是方向的迷失与孤独的挣扎……大病初愈后顿悟:直面苦痛方可绽放灿烂,豁然开朗——这些也只是我的痴人梦呓,难以言明。阅历尚浅,宽容也只能理解到自然流淌的层面。
  
  鄙人不慧,故借用下马克·吐温的智慧,是为展览的主题:“紫罗兰把它的香气留在那踩扁了它的脚踝上。”
  
  此次展览现场有架上绘画、 灯箱互动装置 、四个单频循环动画和玻璃彩绘,还有现场看到的文字、脚踩的白色地毯、 闻到的青草香气、听到的音乐,点明这一些并非显摆形式的多样,而是希望柔软如心脏,清澈如心灵,是一个能让人驻足的空间,一个诚实的展览。
  
  
  Artist self-description:

  Different from the paintings in the public space focusing on the relationship among people, environment and nature, the exhibition in the inner space concentrates on the communication between hearts.The solo makes me much quieter.
  
  Naturally, the "Story" series started from the thinking of "Finding the Happiness", it is now about the self-reflection of "Forgiveness". To me, the "Forgiveness" has some kind of special meaning.
  
  Certainly, things are not always so optimistic as our wishes. The self-touching in the beginning collapsed quickly, which was replaced by losing of direction and struggling of loneliness... then comes the epiphany after the severe disease: only facing the pain directly could make yourself bloom abundantly, make your inner realm wider and brighter -- All of the statements above may be just some hum and buzz from my dream, some vague words and fragments. My younger age and fresh experience can only give me the understanding of "Forgiveness" in the natural layer.
  
  I am not so bright so I would borrow Mark Twain's wisdom, quoting his sentence as the tile of the exhibition: "Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it."
  
  The solo exhibition has paintings on canvas, interactive installations of lightboxes, four single-frequency loop-playback animations and stained glasses. All the texts at the exhibition hall, the white carpets under your feet, the fragrance of the weed, the music, all that implies that they are not just some kinds of diversities to show the different forms. I hope it would be soft like the hearts, limpid like the mind, making it a space for lingering, a really honest exhibition.
