尼古拉•葛罗皮耶尔 (Nicolas Grospierre，1975出生于瑞士日内瓦)在投身于摄影这项国际事业之前， 在巴黎政治学院学习政治科学和社会学，其后在伦敦经济学院学习俄罗斯学和后苏联时期学。
他的摄影作品一部分被定位于自然纪录类，以探索有关现代建筑的集体回忆。另一部分被更多地定位于概念类，类似是一种智力游戏，通过一些具有吸引力的图像或者摄影装置来实现他的理念。
尼古拉•葛罗皮耶尔和波兰艺术家Kobas Laksa凭借展览《Hotel Polonia》获得了第十一届威尼斯建筑双年展金狮奖。

Nicolas Grospierre (*1975 Geneva, Switzerland) studied Russian and Post-Soviet Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Sociology at the Institute for Political Studies in Paris. At the same time he engaged himself with photography, gradually establishing an international career.

His photographs are documentary, exploring the collective memory of modernist architecture. He also works in a conceptual way, kind of like an intellectual game, implementing attractive images and photographic installations.

Together with Kobas Laksa, Nicolas Grospierre received the Golden Lion Award at the 11th International Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2008 for the Polish pavilion project “Hotel Polonia”.
