刘纪蕙教授简介
美国伊利诺大学比较文学博士。台湾国立交通大学社会与文化研究所教授，所长，著名学者，批评家。主要研究领域：精神分析与文化理论、政治—美学—伦理、现代性与东亚知识谱系、殖民地台湾与主体问题、文化研究、台湾文学、跨艺术研究等。著有：《文学与艺术八论：互文•对位•文化诠释》、《文学与电影：影像•真实•文化批评》、《心的变异：现代性的精神形式》等。

Professor Liu Jihui
Noted scholar and critic, Professor Liu Jihui, completed her PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Illinois, and is currently the head of the Research Institute for Sociological and Cultural Studies at National Taiwan Jiaotong University. Her research focuses on psychoanalytic and cultural theory, political —aesthetic— ethics, modernity and East Asian intellectual development, the colonization of Taiwan, cultural studies, and Taiwanese literature. Her research has also extended to visual art. She is the author of "Eight Essays on Literature and Art: Paired Phrases, Counterpoints, and Cultural Interpretation," "Literature and Film: Images, Reality, and Cultural Criticism," and "Variations of the Heart: Forms of the Spirit in Modernity."
