宋冬参加利物浦双年展

近日，佩斯北京艺术家宋冬作为主打艺术家受邀参展第6届利物浦双年展。
利物浦双年展是英国最具活力的大型当代艺术盛事，2008年利物浦双年展共计接待了97.5万名参观者。本届双年展以《触动》（Touched）为主题，邀请了世界各地的艺术家参与，展出了那些能给观众心灵和身体带来触动的作品。
宋冬此次参展的《抚摸众人》是一件现场行为作品，艺术家将事先录好的手的影像，用便携式投影仪投射在前来参观的人们身上。被抚摸的观众表现出不同的反应：他们有些对此无动于衷，有些从旁人异样的眼光中发现了这只“手”，也有人会配合着抚摸做出各种肢体上的动作。艺术家与观众的互动构成了这件作品。相对于1997年更具私密性质的《抚摸父亲》，该作品是艺术家在公共空间的一次尝试。

Song Dong is invited to participate and realize a unique project at the 6th Liverpool Biennial this year.
The Liverpool Biennial is the largest and one of the most exciting contemporary visual arts events in the UK, and, with 975,000 visits in 2008, one of the best attended in the world. The theme of this year’s biennial is Touched, which presents artworks that affect the viewer through addressing a total context (mind, body and place: relatedness in time and space).
Song Dong's Touching the People is a site-specific performance work. Using a portable projector, the artist projected a prerecorded image of a hand which he then projected on the visitors. Various reactions occurred: some appeared indifferent, others only discovered the "hand" after noticing the odd looks of other viewers, while some performed body movements in response to the visual touches. Here, the artist's interaction with the audiences constitutes the work. Compared with the more personal and private work Touching My Father (1997), this work is the artist's attempt in a public space.
