“当代修辞”重庆嶺画廊开幕展 前言
现在中国新一代艺术家已成为国内外关注的热点，国内的艺术环境条件足以成为他们展示才能的舞台，年轻艺术家是按照国际的画廊制度进行运作和市场密切接轨，画廊机制和市场操作的规范性、国际化为艺术家的发展提供了很好前提条件。这次重庆嶺画廊开幕展我们邀请了西南和东北地区的十九位当代重要艺术家加盟，他们一定程度代表着中国当代艺术的未来，他们的学术态度、艺术立场和取得的成就受到了业界的普遍关注，是极具增长率的群落，也应该是艺术投资的热点。本展览的意义在于表达开放融合的艺术态度，大家同聚一堂，轻松认真地探讨共同感兴趣的艺术语言和表现方式学术话题，比较不同地域产生的语言差异特点，希望这是个良好的开端。

PREFACE

The artists of new generation in China now have become a concern for people from domestic and overseas. The artistic development inland is enough for them showing their abilities, which is also providing a good operating environment closely in accordance with international gallery and marketing system. The curtain-up exhibition held this time at Ceiling Gallery has invited 19 major artists from southwest and northeast China and, to a certain extent, they represent the future of Chinese contemporary art. Their academic attitude, aesthetic position and achievements are generally concerned by the industry, which should be the heat spots of artistic investment. This exhibition is open to express and discusss the meaning of art manner, mutual interests in artistic language and manifestation mode, to compare regional characteristics and differences, from which I hope that will be a good start.
Thanks to all of the artists whom take part in this exhibition. And all my best wishes for Ceiling Gallery, Chongqing, to become better with each passing day.
