《当代艺术与投资》是一本学术性杂志，它关注的是当代艺术领域中最核心的部分——艺术创作和艺术实践本身。我们所理解的艺术创作包括了艺术家的创作，策划人的创作，批评家的创作，艺术机构的创造性工作和艺术行业其他角色中具有开拓性视野的实践者，当然还有视觉艺术以外其他艺术领域的创作。这种宽泛的理解也定位了我们杂志的一个态度和基调，即对一切与创作有关的实践、试验、思考和讨论敞开大门，提供一个开放性的平台。
