废墟之曼荼罗

如果将绘画把握为一种生产实践的话，我们是无法在当代绘画和摄影以及动态影像艺术之间做出区别的。因为它们都是影像生产。可以说所有的影像生产都是绘画性的。欲望是生产者。影像生产作为欲望的实践就是转喻和隐喻。
对佛教的理解贯穿在谢曹闽最近的“废墟之曼荼罗”系列之中。曼荼罗最初是以沙画的形式出现在佛教中的。五彩的沙就像万花筒似的在创造和毁灭中轮回。它体现了佛教中关于成，住，坏，空的理念。曼荼罗也是现代物理学全息论的一种视觉呈现。它反映着偶然事件与世界永恒回归整体之间的联系；我们不仅能在偶然事件中寻找到整体存在的信息，也能在整体里面寻找局部的偶然。当我们面对着由当代科技惊人的创造力和毁坏力所建构的世界时，难道曼荼罗不就是最好的隐喻吗？
