地拉那双年展在Edi Muka的独立支撑中今年走到第四届。第一届创办时全部经费只有三万美元，以世上最少预算的双年展著称。双年展找到了市中心的一座废弃的酒店Hotel Dajti作为展场，这里不通水电，没有厕所，一切都要临时搭建。



Hotel Dajti建于1930年代，最初由意大利法西斯政客兴建，在阿尔巴尼亚推行社会主义时期，这里只准外国人入住。酒店规模巨大，功能齐全，房间众多。双年展期间，每个参展艺术家可以拥有一间甚至多间房间展示自己的作品。这是《大栅栏计划》展示的房间。



地拉那双年展虽然资源有限，但以Edi Muka的视野和人脉，也能邀请到相当多前沿国际策展人和艺术家参与，其组织模式也颇具创新意义。今年的展览分成三个Episode，由五位策展人分别负责，一个接着另一个开幕，中间间隔一周或十日，给人展示了一个展览慢慢长成壮大的过程。今年Episode 2由荷兰的建筑和都市研究小组STEALTH负责策划，他们给双年展带入众多建筑和都市研究项目，对于整个城市正在急速转型的地拉那来说，可谓正当其时。《大栅栏计划》能提供的也许是北京的经验吧。
