This exhibition is a cross-section of the creation coming out of a country that has taken its place in South East Asia these last fifteen years as an incubator of creativity. The works of seven artists are showcased in the form of painting, sculpture, video and installation in the first of two exhibitions of contemporary art from Vietnam in 2009 at ifa gallery. This exhibition bears witness to the vitality of creation in Vietnam, of the multiple languages which rest with each artist and of the diversity of creation itself, unfortunately often reduced to banality or caricatures due to an absence of diffusion and information.
