2006年《蓄意》当代现场发生展9月上演下河迷仓

2006年9月1日至9月29日，名为《蓄意》的当代现场发生展将在下河迷仓白屋隆重展开，此次艺术展是下河迷仓自运行以来首次推出的小空间封闭创作展。策划人小珂邀请四位不同领域的艺术家共同完成这次现场发生艺术展。参展艺术家分别是摄影师Coca、舞者李震、戏剧人Why和音乐人殷漪。
四位艺术家将分别先后进入下河迷仓白屋，在白屋进行7天的创作，他们将得到相同的原材料，独立完成创作，并在第七天的晚上19：30现场对外公布各自的作品。作品形式必须具有现场发生感，除此之外留给艺术家极大的创作空间，让他们自行发挥各自的智慧。在进入白屋之前，原材料始终保密，不对外公开。
策划人小珂解释道，之所以采取这样的展览形式，一是期待看到不用领域的艺术家面对相同的创作素材，能开拓出让人不为熟悉的艺术语言。“摄影师不等于看到这些材料，就只会拍照，戏剧人也不等于只会在戏剧的语言里创作。我们都有很多其他的可能性，创作最根本的意义是在于寻找到一种方式，去开拓自己的第二语言，并推进自己的第一语言向前走。如果艺术家永远都在业已成熟的第一语境里创作，那么他的艺术作品也就意味着宣判了死刑。”另外小珂表示，在给予艺术家们相同材料的同时，也给予每位艺术家相对孤立和单纯的创作环境，艺术家之间在这一个月时间里，是不允许相互交流的。“交流应该是创作之后的事，我希望能让每个人进入白屋的那天起，就只属于自己，任何动机和欲望都尽量在自我独立判断的过程中筛选出来。”
《蓄意》这个名字带着某种强烈的意图，正如每一位在白屋之外的创作者，在完全不知将会有什么，将会发生什么的情况下，人潜意识里的意图是强烈而无依据的，他们和我们这些观众一样，说不清楚在等待着什么。而这四个问号将依次在9月8日19：30、9月15日19：30、9月22日19：30和9月29日的19：30分别落音。
四位艺术家各自的创作工作和最终现场作品都将被完整纪录下来，并在整个展览结束20天后（10月20日）在下河迷仓展映，到那个时候，就是各自交流的时候了。
《Malice》Contemporary Live Art Exhibition in Down stream Garage in September
A contemporary live art exhibition named “Malice” will be launched on 1st September and continue to 29th September in Down stream garage White room, which is the first time for Down stream to organize this kind of creative art activity in a small room. The curator of this exhibition Xiaoke invites four artists who come from different art field, they are photographer Coca Dai, Contemporary dancer Lizhen, drama actor Why and the musician Yinyi.
Four artists will go into the white room one by one independently, and works inside in 7 days. They will get the same kind and quantity of material to do art work, material using and solo creation. In the final time (the 7th night) at 19:30 they will publish their live art performance outside in each Friday night in September. The only limit to their art works is that it must be a live art performance, except that artists get a huge freedom to create in white room. What kinds of the materials they can use are also a secret now till the first artist come into the room.
Curator Xiaoke explains, she hopes to see more creative and different art works come out from white room by the different background artists who use the same material to work. “Photographer does not means just can take photos by these materials, and the drama actor does not means just knows the theater language. Actually we have much more creative possibility, I think the true value for art work is to find a smart way to initiate our second art language, and use it to develop our developed first art language. If artist always use his familiar art language to work, his art means death to me. ” Xiaoke said she wants to give artists an isolated and pure space to do “Malice”. So the four artists can’t communicate with each other in the period and can’t go to see other’s work. “Communication should be happen after Malice, the four artists when they go into white room, which means he is the only one to think and to work, nobody will disturb him, and he can decide absolutely by himself for everything, no advice for his art work. In the 7 days. ”
The name of “Malice” has a strong intention inside. Before they go into white room, the artists are same as the audients, nobody knows what kinds of material, what will happen inside and all people just look forward to seeing something happen. In fact the intention now is so strong but without any dependence to support. The four art works will be published one by one on 8th September 19:30, 15th September 19:30, 22nd September 19:30 and 29th September 19:30 in Down stream White room. (No 100 Lane 200 Long Cao Road near by Caobao metro station).
In the whole period, down stream will record the artists’ work and the final art performances and show the production film on 20th October night.
