Madman’s work:My Self-criticism
Operation: One continualy reads his experiences and personal details very loudly in the exhbition space. During the performance, the person wanders at will or settles, smothing his throat with bear.
Brief introduction: Individuals are erased and not to take account of in the mainland of China. They are flooded in a “representation”. From childhood, we begin to fill in all kinds of tables with our individual infomations, but this dogmatic filling is only for pigeonhole, not for the individuals’ characters. This work faces to me, even if it is unuseful.
Gao Mingyan’s work: Performance
Invite a band “Pentacle” to the exhbition space to warm-up, tune up, assemble all through, but not to sing. When people wait them to “perform”, they have seen the band’s perform worryingly in fact.
Hu Yun’s work:Thanks for your time

Brief introduction: Hu Yun is slung in a closed space, and constrainedly stand on one end of the teetertotter board in the installation. Another end of the teetertotter board spreads out of the space and can be sat on.
When the audience sit down, Hu Yun is in a safe situation; when the audience leave, the teetertotter board turns up, Hu Yun is slung again.
The situation in the closed sapce will be played real-time on the TV set outside.

Several tens persons had cried in a dark room continually for 3 hours.
Li Mu’s work: TELL ME
Performence

Li Mu: Outside the space I spread one of my hands though the hole chiseled in the wall. Inside the exhbition space, the aucience face to the hand spread through the white wall, and there is a square stool beside them and there are a brush, a bottle of ink, a mark pen on the stool. Meanwhile I arrange my assistant wash my hand for every several minutes. This work will last 2 hours.
Lu Jiawei’s work: Creat
A lot of cloth with colour bars envelop a dark space.
Use electric welding, porta nailer, electric drill to creat a supposititious tree.
The audience could see shining of the electric welding and hear the noise of the tools fitfully.
Tang Dixin’s work: I will come back at once.
Matierials: two bar of soakeded toilet paper.
Brief introduction: The audience toss the toilet paper to any place of the space: wall, ceiling, beam, floor. And the artist get the toilet paper back in different ways in fastest speed by using the matierials in the space.
Zhang Lehua’s work: My super show of dunk
Knock down an ordinary basketry’s hight by 50 Cm. And make the performer’s scale the same as those basketball stars. The performance will be my show of dunk.
Surprsingly, outside the exhbition Xiao Naihua was selling his men’s bras.

In China, the concept of performance mainly points to those performance art based on doing in showplaces. Although there is only a small gap between action art and performance, in China, yet, they are divided into two completely different systems. There are hardly some people who want to cross this limits.
In this exhibition, the artists will be invited to create a series of works which will make progress for action art and performance art, create some possibilities for variety, discuss the possibilities of cores of none-selfbody in action art and performing art.
Action art began to be the main activator of contemporary art practice from 1960s. But there are little action art as expressive ways in China.
Showtime will disguss the relationship between the immateriality art works and the art market.
