这一次，也不例外。

安尼施·卡普尔（Anish Kapoor），1954年出生于印度孟买。

卡普尔创作往往是形而上的，关于物质与非物质的关系、存在与消亡、有形与无形、意识与无意识等二元对立问题的思考都在他的作品中有所体现。尤其是印度哲学与宗教，更是卡普尔的灵感来源，他说：“作为艺术家，我要使我的每一件作品不止是物体，而是哲学的承载，很多作品都是我东方思想的体现。”从小耳濡目染的东方思想结合西方艺术世界对于观念和形式的表达，这二者共同造就了这位“混血”艺术家的特殊魅力。

现在，英国著名雕塑家安尼施·卡普尔 (Anish Kapoor)同名大型个展在古朴典雅的英国诺福克郡霍顿庄园举办，展览已于7月12日开幕，此次展览由里森画廊支持。
此次展出了24件影响深远的雕塑以及精心挑选的素描和小型作品，它们集中体现了卡普尔过去40年极具突破性的创作实践。同时，这些作品与霍顿庄园的古典建筑和超尘绝俗的庭院形成了有趣的对比，进一步参与、发展与历史的对话。安尼施·卡普尔是当今最具影响力的雕塑家之一，他创作的公共雕塑在形式和工程技术方面都极具开拓性，在尺寸和材质方面也非常多变。

此次在霍顿庄园举办的展览由马里奥·科多尼亚托策展，将重点呈现卡普尔使用镜面材质和石材制作的大型作品，比如《天空之镜》(2018)（下图） ——直径5米的不锈钢材质镜面倒映、变换了周遭的空间，使之上下颠倒——以及一系列在2001到2003年期间创作的大理石雕塑，它们都分布在庄园室外各处。还有不少作品将在室内展出，比如一系列令人印象深刻的砂岩雕塑。

霍顿庄园的主人乔蒙德利阁下 (Lord Cholmondeley) 说：“安尼施·卡普尔是一位魔术师。他那些优雅的作品以神秘莫测的方式反映了这个世界。我们非常荣幸有机会在霍顿庄园展出安尼什·卡普尔的著名作品，观众在室内和庭院各处都能看到它们。”
霍顿庄园拥有英国最大规模的室外雕塑展示空间，由英国第一位首相罗伯特·沃尔波尔爵士 (Robert Walpole) 在1722年前后出资建造，由乔治王朝著名建筑师科伦·坎贝尔 (Colen Campbell) 和詹姆斯·吉布斯 (James Gibbs) 担纲设计，堪称帕拉第奥式建筑风格在英国的最佳典范之一。18世纪末，乔蒙德利家族入住霍顿庄园并一直居住于此，建筑本身以及屡获殊荣的庭院于1976年向公众开放。
