奥运会已经不仅仅是个梦想，对于每个中国人来说，我们在经历一场奥运。奥运已经超越了它作为体育赛事的意义，尤其在中国，似乎增添了更多精神追求的色彩。我们举办2008年奥运会，我们来定义它的中国精神、中国标准。我们将要制造一场带有中国印章的奥运。奥运的符号、口号、吉祥物都随处可见，似乎每个人都成为了奥运合作伙伴。伴随着这样一场全国人民的大事，卷入其中的我们无法熟视无睹。艺术家的敏感神经和触角也浸泡在这个巨大的信息瓶中,随着奥运信息量的注入，艺术家在不断消化和制造反射物——这就是他们这些作品的源头。希望我们从这些作品中得到的不仅仅是关于奥运的感受。

此次走出宋庄，走进奥运---艺术接力计划，将采用渐进式阶段性主题系列展，多各展览地点，多名艺术家用多种艺术形态，多角度展示艺术家对于奥运的艺术解读与思考，拉近艺术与奥运的距离，打造一场艺术与奥运结合的视觉盛宴。

Hold Olympic Games, having provided wonderful reforming and opening opportunity for China: Carry on Chinese traditional culture and the modern spirit by Olympic Games, Olympic will become an booster to the economic and social development , accelerate Chinese modernized course, lifting citizen quality and civilized degree of society, driving the country and society to reform and open further. showing China an open mind to the outside world , transparent , conscientious image... ...'' This is the medium commentary to 2008 Olympic.
Olympic is not only a dream, we are experiencing one Olympic Games for every Chinese people. Olympic Games has already exceeded the significance that it is engaged in as sports match , It has added the color that more spirits run after especially seemingly in China. We hold Olympic in 2008 , we will define its Chinese spirit , Chinese standard. We will create one as well as Olympic Games having Chinese seal. The sign , slogan and mascot of Olympic Games all can be seen everywhere, as if each people all have all become the Olympic Games partner. Accompanying such great event to all over the country , we unable to ignore. Artist's sensitive nerves and antennas are also immersed in this gigantic information flask. Along with Olympic Games information pouring into, artists are digesting and creating the reflecting things unceasingly. Hope that we can obtain more things from these works except feelings about Olympic Games.
The Olympic Games is a big sports party of the world. The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games is a carnival of Chinese. It’s not only a simple sports game,but also dignity and glory of Chinese. And it’s a centry’s dream of China. It’s means challenges and opportunitys. The whole people participate in it, each one has different dream, large-eyed to find a runway and arena of himself. We can’t forecast the changes and influence of The Olympic Games. There’re a lot of delicate and interesting changes occured in the different areas of society. As observers and participator, the artists joined this game too.
“Walk Out Songzhuang, Walk Into Olympics, The Plan of Art’s Relay”, should include a series exhibitions and fell into several phases, progress step and step. In different place, five to eight artists will exhibit their works from different point of views and art forms, to express their understand and opinions of the Olympic Games. By this way, to reduce the distance between art and olympics, they will bring us a visual feast.
