Zarina Hashmi， 在目前艺术界所流行的游走还未热起来前，她就已经是一位游牧民了。她出身在印度的 Aligarh， 是一名穆斯林。目前已60几岁的她曾游走在亚洲、欧洲的多个国家、南美及包括美国之间。虽然在70年代，她已定居纽约，但她仍在继续她的旅行并且继续她半抽象的创作。
