A4当代艺术中心青年艺术家实验季第二回 刘成瑞个展 “于是河”

此次展览共展出刘成瑞五件作品和一个行为现场。五件作品均为2009年5月11日-2009年10月23日狱中完成，包括：《飞往威尼斯的一根羽毛》（2009年威尼斯双年展澳门主题展参展作品，作品被拒展。）、《还有羽毛》（18幅图片）、《于是河》（75页A4文本装置）、《馒头日记》（10幅图片）、《两条河(诗歌卷)》（诗集，收录39首诗歌和诗稿印影）。行为现场持续五小时，艺术家将自己左手穿过虎口钉在墙上，右手紧扶播放自己笑声的音响。

2009年我获邀参加第53届威尼斯双年展澳门主题展，开幕前夕，我因实施作品《窄门》违反北京市治安条例被监禁半年。
"一根飞往威尼斯的一根羽毛"是在北京某拘留所我口述给提前出狱的狱友，让他们找到我的朋友转达我对作品的构想，再由朋友们制作完成后送到威尼斯现场的作品。
送到威尼斯展览现场后，主办方没有展示这件作品。之后又辗转几个地方，被幸鑫带回成都。一年后，于2010年4月15日快递到我的手中。邮包自此从未打开，制作和展览前打开时也没有任何人为此作品留下影像资料。
About"A Feather Flying to Venice"
In 2009, I was invited to the exhibition"Divergence: Exhibition From Macao, China"at the 53rd Venice Biennale. Right before the opening ceremony, I was imprisoned for half a year because of the implementation of my artwork "Narrow Door".
So I explained my plan of the work "A Feather Flying to Venice" to my inmates. They were released from the prison earlier than me and found my artwork and sent it to Venice.
However, for some reason, this artwork didn't get a chance to be exhibited in Venice. It was brought back to Chang Du by Xing Xin after it went around a few other places. A few later, it was sent back to me. The package has never been opened since then and no video information was left.

在监狱很少能见到灰色之外的东西，2009年7月9号在河北邯郸监狱操场放风时捡到了第一根羽毛，羽翼的美感在特殊的气场中打开了我内心所有的壁垒，后来我几乎把放风、出操、打饭、放烟茅等号外的活动都当做一个可以捡到羽毛的机会。
我带出了18支羽毛，第18支是最大的一支，是隔壁号的兄弟送给我的礼物。
I could only saw greyin prison. I picked the first feather on July 9th, 2009 in the sport ground in HebePrison. Feather was really linked with discourage and love in that circumstances. After that, whenever I could go outside and got chances to pick up feathers.
I brought out eighteen feathers. The last feather which was the largest one was a gift from a friend who was from the next cell.
两条河
本人和刘成瑞（刮子）在邯郸相识，于2009年9月17日因我的解教（出狱）分别。在别后的三年里，我们将以天为单位，记录我们各自新认识的朋友和新认识的人，并以周为单位，用电子邮件或信件的方式做详细的汇报，直到2012年9月16日刘成瑞找到我一聚为止。中间若有一人违约，违约方必须将自己全部的体毛（头发、腋毛、眉毛、腿毛、阴毛等）无条件赠与对方，并宣告”两条河”行为计划中止。
细则：
1， 本约定自2009年9月17日生效，2012年9月16日结束。
2， 相约双方不得违约，违约方必须承担责任。
3， 互相发送的信件、电话、网聊的内容不得对自己的生活、情绪、境况、工作等做任何介绍。
4， 信件的格式为：
例1：杨旭：2009年9月18日 13时新认识：唐姐 30岁教师 170左右性格开朗
15时新认识：老张 46岁左右工人 160左右性格不详
2009年9月19日新认识0人
5， 若有一方无理由中止介绍自己新认识的人，算违约，有特殊情况，可提前留言或者事后解释，内容只说：“特殊情况，无法克服”即可。至于详细原因，三年后见面告知。
6， 若2012年9月16日刘成瑞未找到我，算违约。他必须自觉将全毛剃尽，并赠之。
7， 若2012年9月16日前后，刘成瑞有重大无法克服的原因去寻找我（如：在狱中疾病缠身…等），刮子可嘱托朋友或者亲人继续和我进行“两条河”计划，本人的实施主体也随即变为委托方（亲人或朋友）。
8， 若2012年9月16日前，本人突发死亡，在入土或化灰前，剃尽全毛赠与刘成瑞。
9， 若2012年9月16日，我若有意不见刘成瑞算违约（在狱中除外）。
10， 违约方在剃毛后分类存好，并注明日期。
11， 在2009年9月17日—2012年9月16日间，双方用严肃认真的态度等待此约定。
12， 此约定经双方签名后具有法律效力，每人一份。
13， 对以上情况之外的事情，双方商议后共同解决，力促“两条河”计划顺利完成。
{附：2009年9月17日—2009年11月1日间，由于本人无人身自由，不能和杨旭通信，此间本人新认识的人每日记录，必须于2009年11月3日前发给杨旭}

The Two Rivers
I and Liu Chengrui (Guazi) know each other in Handan. We separated on the date of 17th Sept. 2009 because of my release. We will record the new friends/people we know or meet every day (one day is a record unit) and report each other the detail of these people every week by sending email/mail(one week is a report term), until the date of 16th Sept.2012 Liu Chengrui find me and we meet. In this period, any party who default this agreement should give the other party all his hairs (including head hair, eyebrow, hirci, shank feathering, hair in private parts, etc.) unconditionally. And then declare The Two Rivers action end.
We make details as following:
1. This agreement takes effect 17th Sept. 2009 and will last until 16th Sept 2012.
2. The two parties of this agreement should not default, the default party should bear the default responsibility.
3. The content of mail/phone calls/net chatting should not involving their life, mood, conditions or work.
4. The mail form should be as follow:
Example 1:
Yang Xu: 18th Sept. 2009, 13p.m. know Elder Sister Tang, 30years old, teacher, about 170cm, character: optimistic
18th Sept. 2009, 15p.m. know Zhang, about 46 years old, worker, 160cm,character: unknown
19th Sept. 2009, know 0 people
5. Any of the two parties stopping introducing the new people he knows, this action is default. If there is any excuse should mind the other party before this issue or explain the reason later. The content should written: special conditions, cannot overcome. The details should be not referred and explain when the two parties meet in 16th Sept. 2009.
6. If Liu Chengrui cannot find me (Yang Xu) on the date 16th Sept. 2009, this action is default. He should shave his hair and give it to me.
7. If close the date 16th Sept. 2009, there are some issues that Liu Chengrui cannot overcome (including illness, serving a sentence, etc.) and cannot find me at the time point, he can authorize his friend or relative to find me and go on with The Two Rivers, meanwhile, the executing subject of my party of The Two Rivers will alter to my agent automatically, my friend or relative will execute it.
8. if I die by accident before the date of 16th Sept. 2012, all my hairs should be cut off and send to Liu Chengrui before buried.
9. If that date 16th Sept. 2012 I do not meet Liu Chengrui intentionally, this action is default. (except I am serving the sentence in the prison at that time)
10. The default party should keep the hairs separately and mention the date of cut.
11. During the date of 17th Sept. 2009_16th Sept. 2012, the two parties should obey the agreement and treat it seriously.
12. This agreement takes effect while the two parties signed. Each party keeps one copy of this agreement.
13. If there is any issues beyond conditions mentioned above, the two parties should discuss it and deal with it together.
(reference: between 17th Sept 2009-1st Nov. 2009, I -Liu Chengrui-have to serve the sentence in the prison and cannot send mail to Yang Xu, in this time I should keep the daily record of new people I know and send it to Yang Xu before 3rd Nov. 2009)

2009年5月11日—2009年10月23日在拘留所和狱中所吃的全部馒头，并把出狱前的最后一个馒头带出监狱。出狱后整理成"馒头日记"。
I recorded all steamed bread which I had had in custody and prison from May 11, 2009 to October 23, 2009. I put the last steamed bread out of the prison. At last I organized into "steamed bread diary".
