布拉格双年

2007年5月24日,今天开幕!

本次双年展的核心将聚焦在中欧的集体记忆和绘画的边界。

步入了第三年,布拉格双年展将重新出发。通过大量的近期和过往作品(从绘画摄影到表演和装置艺术)今年的宗旨将放在探讨和定位东欧最重大的艺术方位。展览除了陈列年轻与成熟,新和备受肯定的艺术家作品,同时也概括形成六七十年代的主要运动的流派。

本届双年展也为至今还未列入国际艺术界的捷克极简主义和斯洛瓦克行动主义提供特别展。为在上次参加了《绘画的延伸》展览后获得成功的青年艺术家展开《绘画2》,推出20位初露锋芒的欧洲艺术家。

特别的焦点也将放在罗马尼亚的 Cluj学院, 一个排在莱比锡和德累斯顿学院之后,重要的当代绘画金矿。

除此之外,展览也请来了3位备受尊敬的重量级艺术家:

Marina Abramovic, Vanessa Beecroft, Shirin Neshat.
当然第三届布拉格双年展最重要的特点还是那些故事,民间传说和中欧的整个文化。
