当地时间10月28日，第20届悉尼双年展艺术总监Stephanie Rosenthal公布了首批包括71位艺术家的参展名单，他们的作品将在分布在悉尼市内的7个不同场馆展出。双年展将于2016年3月18日开幕，持续至6月5日结束。今年的主题来自科幻小说家威廉·吉布森（William Ford Gibson）一句广为流传的话：未来已经发生,只是分布尚不均匀（The future is already here — it’s just not evenly distributed）。
