Challenge Skateboards SDA 2010 -Skate Deck Art- Customized Collectibles is a joint project between China’s best source for all things skating, KickerClub.com and Core Power Asia Communication + Advertising.

The 2010 edition marks the inaugural show of this annual landmark event.

Chinese street, graffiti and contemporary artists are invited to customize a blank skateboard deck and artists have the possibility to sign up for a free deck online at www.kickerclub.com and www.corepowerasia.com.

The skateboards turned artworks will be exhibited in Beijing from August 6th – 20th 2010 at WHB – Ware House Beijing, from September 4th – 5th 2010 at Shanghai Baby Dragon skate contest and from September 24th – 25th 2010 at the Baby Dragon Hangzhou skate contest which is held during the Surfing China Festival.

This unique project allows action sports and art to cross over and thus helps skateboarding to become more accessible to a broader audience.

Getting and returning a deck
Free decks are available until the end of May 2010 The deadline to return the decks is June 16 2010.
The blank decks will be available for pick up in Beijing and will be shipped to addresses outside of Beijing.


Sale of artworks
The decks available for purchase can be sold during the duration of the exhibition. All proceeds go directly to the artists.
