展览前言

我认识周轶伦是先从他的作品开始的。
在展览上看到周轶伦的作品：神秘、诡异、荒诞——但却透露着独特的审美和质感。这让我很好奇，心想这个艺术家应该是很酷的人吧。果然，蓝色线帽、超大的耳环、神秘的纹身、黑色古怪造型的双肩包、彩色的长筒球袜，当他向你走来时，感觉他就是一个来自未来的部落战士。
后来我们有了展览合作和更多的交流，发现他是一个做事很靠谱的人。他习惯遇事会为别人着想，所以在他身边有很多好朋友。

在这个项目的行进中，我们有多次的讨论，聊天中更能感受到他的认真和诚实。我已经多次拜访过他如“博物馆”一样的家和工作室，但每一次都很新奇，因为总能发现一些的不同或者细节的变化。他的生活和创作是完全交融在一起的。在这里你很难区分这把椅子到底是作品？还是一个被改造后日常使用的物件？或许这些都没那么重要。置身其中你会很快的进入他的世界：好奇他想说些什么，又很期待他将要做些什么？
如同此次的“R3PM3——周轶伦产品展”，这些以旧物改造再重新塑造的个性，你很难界定它是物品、商品还是艺术品，这是一个什么样的艺术项目？这又会是一个什么样的现场？

借用周轶伦在访谈中所言：这个项目基本就是借用艺术的幌子做了些自己喜欢的东西。

艺术家自述

真正传说中的末日并没有如期到来，但随后如末日般的日子还是让大部分人类陷入了困境。最后幸存下来的那些人坚持着那些维持生存的手段，对他们来说在普通不过的事情就是，之前人类称之为艺术的东西。

FOREWORD

Before I met Zhou, I got to know him through his work .

I came across Zhou's work in an art exhibition, It was mysterious, strange and absurd， yet displaying unique aesthetics and texture. It made me wonder what a cool person the artist would be. Just like I expected, blue knit hat, gigantic earrings, tattoos, oddly shaped black backpack, rainbow colored socks. When he walked towards me， I felt like a warrior from a futuristic tribe is approaching.

Later we communicated more and had few more collaboration， it turns out, beside his unique character, he is actually a person that is rather down-to-earth. Zhou always thinks for others，so he has a lot of friends. during this project， we had many discussion, I could always feel the honesty and sincerity when we talk. I have visited his museum like home atelier many times， the place amuses me every time, because every time I go, I could discover something new and fresh. Zhou binds his life and creative work together, inside his atelier，I could hardly separate home furnishing from art creations，is it a chair or is it an installation, or is it a reconstruction of a common tool? When you are inside his world, maybe definition is not what's important here, you would wonder what is he trying to express , what is he going to be doing?

As we are working on the project of "R3PM3 - Exhibition of Zhou's Production", showcasing the idea of rebuilding of ordinary and old objects. You begin to realize that it is difficult to define the boundaries of objects, product and art. What kind of art project is this and what will the exhibition scene be like？

Like Zhou said in the interview: "this project is basically me doing what I normally love to do in the name of art."

ARTIST’S
PERSONAL STATEMENT

The doomsday that the legends referred did not arrive, but the desperate days came after put most people in a tighter spot. Survivors sticks to his own ways of surviving. to them，things that people used to call art，can not be more ordinary.
