　　《春望——胡诚、黄世常作品展》是和辉艺术2011年开年的第一个展览，将持续至2011年3月底结束，欢迎前往参观。和辉艺术隆重推出两位80年代中期出生的艺术家——胡诚和黄世常。在今天这个物质文明非常发达的时代，物质消费是一种疯狂的时尚，很多人的价值观几乎一边倒地向物质世界坠落。两位清贫的艺术家逃离物质利益追逐的广州闹市，在广州大学城的边缘过着半隐居式的生活。他们借助于绘画，他们守住了一片心灵的绿洲。他们没有被流行文化裹挟进去，散失主体的独立精神，沦为物欲文化的信徒。他们的作品真实地呈现了当代境遇下一个年轻的艺术家心灵的历史，反映他们的精神追求和文化思考，同时也以独特的语言方式捍卫了绘画的尊严和独立性。在多媒体图像泛滥、卡通文化、观念艺术、作秀文化大行其道的今天，他们的作品通过真诚、灵动、清新的绘画性避免了绘画语言沦为观念、图像和符号的附庸，以丰富的想象、内在充沛的生命力和无限诗意，显现了绘画自身独特的价值和无限的可能性，凸显了物质文明中心灵家园的可贵。他们的作品也为寒冬中的我们守望着心灵的春天。



Hehui Art Gallery invites your attention to two artists born in middle 80s—Cheng Hu and Shichang Huang. In today’s world, advocacy of material consumption has become a fad and people’s belief has been tilted towards pursuit of material wealth. Rather than endulged in the material and noisy downtown of Guangzhou, two poor artists live a half-reclusive life in Guangzhou’s university area. By painting, they protect their belief from allure of money. Rather than losing their independent personality or falling to become seekers of material wealth, they present their spirit, their pursuit of pure soul and their reflection of culture in their painting, free of widespread consumption fad. In the meantime, they defend art’s dignity and independence from material wealth. While multi-media products, cartoons, behavioral art and so on dominant today’s market, instead of being mere symbols and pictures, the two artists’ paintings demonstrate art’s unique value and limitless possibilities through their sincere, vivid and refreshing representation, and emphasize the importance of pure spirit in a material world. With those being said, their paintings are worth calling the “spring prospect” of our heart in this cold winter.
