6月19日，第一届邱炯炯艺术节将在星空间拉开帷幕。丰富的人生经历使得邱炯炯的作品有着异于同龄艺术家的深沉感。他最感兴趣的题材包括人物和腊肉，其中又以人物的肖像最为引人注目：层叠斑驳的效果中，调侃诙谐的人物形象若隐若现。他摆脱了一般对肖像的处理方法，用夸张变形和朦胧的笔触在对象与观众之间造成隔膜，但强大的张力又会把观众“吸”进去。如同新片《姑奶奶》中刻画的碧浪达夫人，邱炯炯在闪烁恍惚间营造出的是一个又一个富于神秘色彩的语境。
On June 19, 1st Qiu Jiongjiong Art Festival unveils itself at Star Gallery. Qiu Jiongjiong's rich life experiences endow his work with a depth unique among his contemporaries. His most favored themes include biographies and preserved ham, although among these, his portraiture grabs our attention: jocular and ridiculous characters loom in his mottled and textured images. He has shaken off average portraiture styles, and uses deformed, hazy and exaggerated strokes to create a polarity between his subjects and his audience. The strong tension draws us right in. Just as in his new film "Madame," Qiu Jiongjiong entrances us by creating one richly mysterious and colorful scene after another.
