那特画廊将于10月12日举办艺术家王俊在成都的首次个展“怎么做，怎么错”，本次展览将展出艺术家近两年创作的绘画及装置作品，展览将于12月8日结束。
王俊的近期作品越来越倾向于将“绘画”视为一个词汇，将自己的创作实践针对这个词汇及其所涵盖的系统展开。本次展览主要由四组绘画和与视觉观看机制紧密相关的一组装置作品构成。在王俊的作品中，绘画由表达的工具转化为需要探讨的问题，绘画方式本身成为思考的对象。对绘画本身的讨论即是艺术家设置的观念意图，也是寻找可能性的唯一途径。从这个意义上看，在王俊所理解的世界中，传统的或是同时代的绘画概念构成了另一种现实的维度，绘画经验成为一种个体所经历的现实经验。无论是《废话2013》、《无题（归属）、《白就白》或是《无题（南山）》，对于王俊而言，无论是对书写的反刍还是对大师作品的钩沉；无论是对图像本身的思考还是对死亡情绪的呈现，都是相互关联和作用的系统性工作，在这些工作中，他在意的是作品与作品之间可能建立起来的结构关系，并且将这种结构之网交错时所能产生的弹性视为一种对存在的回应。
L-Art Gallery will hostWang Jun’s first solo exhibition “How it’s Done, How it’s wrong” in Chengdu onOctober 12th. This exhibition will showcase the artist’s most recentpainting and installation works. The exhibition will close on December 8th.
Wang Jun’s recent workstend to regard “painting” as a word more and more. Aiming at this word and thesystem it covers, his creative practice is carried out. This exhibition ismainly composed of four series of paintings and a set of installation worksclosely related to the visual mechanism. In Wang Jun’s works, painting hastransformed from the tool of expression to the question to be discussed; theway of painting has become the object of thinking. The discussion aboutpainting itself is the conception and intention that the artist sets, as wellas the only way to search for possibilities. In this sense, in the world thatWang Jun understands, traditional or contemporary concepts of painting haveconstituted another dimension of reality. The experience of painting has becomean experience of reality that individuality undergoes. In Nonsense 2013, Untitled(Ascription), White is White and Untitled (South Mountain), for Wang Jun,no matter the rumination of writing or the re-examination of masterpieces, nomatter the thinking about image itself or the presentation of the emotion ofdeath, they are all interlocking and functioning systematic work. In this work,what he cares is the possible structural relationship to be established betweendifferent works, as well as to regard the flexibility created from thisstructural net as a response to existence.
