Archie Bray 基金会是有关陶瓷创作的公共非盈利的,文教机构,由昔日砖厂老板Archie Bray 创建于1951年,其目的旨在为专业和非专业热衷于用陶瓷材料作创作的艺术家创建一个优良工作空间.它的初衷是提供环境激发创造.其驻场项目艺术家和培养的青年艺术家许多已经世界知名.
这次乐天陶社C2画廊将展出48件由26位驻场艺术家创作的陶瓷作品,

The Pottery Workshop Shanghai presents “Ceramics from the Archie Bray Foundation” 15th December -20th February 2007.
The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts is a public, nonprofit, educational institution founded in 1951 by brick maker Archie Bray, who intended it to be "a place to make available for all who are seriously and sincerely interested in any of the branches of the ceramic arts, a fine place to work." Its primary mission is to provide an environment that stimulates creative work in ceramics. Its artists in residence program and nurtured many young people who had become world renowned ceramic artists.
The Pottery Workshop will present 48 pieces of ceramics made by 26 former Archie Bray resident artists in the c2 Gallery on Taikang Lu.
