群展“History is Now: 7 Artists Take On Britain”日前在伦敦Hayward画廊举行。

展览被分成了6个区域，每一个区域都由一、两位艺术家进行策划。受邀策展的七位艺术家分别是John Akomfrah、藤原西芒（Simon Fujiwara）、罗杰·海恩斯（Roger Hiorns）、汉娜·斯塔基（Hannah Starkey）、理查德·温特沃斯（Richard Wentworth）以及艺术小组Jane and Louise Wilson。他们关注了文化史中的一些特定时期，多变且高度原创的策划提供了一些新鲜的视角，并且点明了英国从战后至今这一段旅程中的关键时刻。

七位艺术家利用新鲜的方式探索了整个近代史，涉及到的理念和主题囊括了冷战、后撒切尔主义的社会、各种抗议、女权主义以及名人文化等等。展览中，每一个区域都被打上了标签，但这显然是不必要的，因为定位与意图上的转变是相当明显的。尽管每一部分在关注焦点和表现风格上都有着显著区别，但作为一个整体的展览始终激发了对在近些年来规划了英国发展、并因此影响了其未来决定与方向的事件、人物和目标的讨论。
