超市是一个密集、诱惑，充满秩序感的空间。每一个身处其中的消费者既是消费感官的载体，亦是传播者。

超市是一个当代生活的博物馆，它为民众提供多种服务，与每个人的生活密不可分。它的每一次摆放及展示都力图在最有限的空间展现商品最大的价值，这些工作看似简单，实属不易。

购买是超市中最具实效的行为，也是促使消费社会不断循环的重要内因。

然而丰盛的超市，也无法平衡生产与消费的难题，难免要产生大量的报损，如，包装箱、塑胶袋、过期食品、果蔬的枝干等。这些看似毫无价值的物品对人类来说是一种每日发生的损失。那么这种不断累积的损失能否通过艺术的形式得以转变，使“垃圾”成为被人欣赏、凝结注视的艺术品，并在人们日常生活的空间中获得展出的机会，是总体艺术工作室长期关注的一类社会问题。

本次展览正是想通过与世纪联华－City&Life城市-生活超市的合作，将超市作为现实生活与艺术结合的现场，展出社区艺术项目《藏好了吗？》，内容将包括：《冬至－摇钱树计划》、《落叶》、《竞技场》、《世界银行》。

Community Art Project “Are You Hiding?"

The supermarket is a space filled at once with a sense of order and intensive seduction. Through our senses each consumer becomes both the carrier and communicator of these desires. The supermarket is a museum of contemporary life, as it offers a variety of services to the public, and everyone's lives are inseparable. In every place the supermarket shows goods or tries to show in the most limited space the goods of greatest value. Such work may seem simple, but it is not easy.

The act of purchasing is the most effective behavior in the supermarket, but as it also promotes the consumer society,  it is the underlying cause of an endless cycle. Productive supermarkets cannot balance the problems of production and consumption; it is inevitable that they produce large amounts of unused materials, such as boxes, plastic bags, expired food, fruits and vegetables etc. The loss of these seemingly worthless items occurs daily in human experience. What if this loss can accumulate in the form of art, so that the "junk" can be appreciated by people, with artwork concerned about this process. The opportunity to exhibit in the space of everyday life and address these social challenges, is the long-term concern of the Total Art studio.

The exhibition is a collaboration between the Century Lianhua City & Life supermarket and the Total Art studio of China Academy of Art. The supermarket becomes a sphere for real life as well as the art scene, displaying the community art project "Are You Hiding?" Programs include: "Winter Solstice - Money Tree Project", "Leaves", "The Arena" and "World Bank".
