海伦·马尔滕（Helen Marten，b1985）作品展“Take a Stick and Make it Sharp”近日在柏林Johann Koenig画廊开幕。这位艺术家在接受关于此次展览的采访时说：“在我的作品中，长椅、梯子、斜坡、烟以及一些纸质作品都表现了一种通过摸索就能够识别的社会状态。那种在午餐休息时间、在思维空间的链条中发挥作用的情感总是有一种能够触知的状态。与社会活动的主旨类似，生活设备是一种支持物，也是一种对心理的掌控。在一次尝试延伸开来的活动中，两把长椅能够在对话空间中产生摩擦力，以此来呈现一些存在于轻浮交流中的陈词滥调。

我运用一些钢制品来实现一个观念的进化——从模糊的微型状态发展至充满内涵的实体。烟被划定出一个真正的、脱离常轨的界限，这是一种终极的模糊形态。而图像的扩散性也形成了其自身的构造碎片。”
