----如观如听，如绘如诉----
先人很早就意识到法自然，他们在循环反复不息的生中，体会到了自然中的潜在的平衡。古之文人绘士，寄情理于草木万泽之中，从天地间悟启生存价值，在“画象布色”中再得山泽之质趣 。 我作为一画者亦有愿用素色记录下今生的观感！找到那潜在的平衡！相信大自然如果用心向它提问，去聆听，它就会教给我实现目标的方法。

Theme of Exhibition: “Listening•Telling”

----as seeing and listening, as painting and telling----
Ancient predecessors realized long ago the necessity to imitate nature. They seemed to grasp the implicit balance within nature through the eternal recurrence of being. Ancient men of letters and painters communed with woods, grass, rivers and lakes for spiritual expression, meditated upon the significance of existence in nature, and revitalized the vigor and beauty of nature through painting images and allotting colors. As a painter, I wish to record my thoughts in this life in simple and pure colors, and to discover that implicit balance. Believe in nature, ask and listen to it with your heart so that nature will show the path to your goal.

艺术家自述
我冥冥中感到宇宙中有种无法说清的混沌，而造物给希望到达那里的人留下了很多供他们自行探索的路。因为我的愚笨，我只能不停得记录，通过写生，为了不让自己迷失。作为画者，把我的观和感通过形和色拾起生活中的片片记忆。。。为了能通达那混沌。。。

Statement of the Artist:
Somehow I perceive a kind of ineffable chaos in the universe, but nature still manages to show the way towards destination to those who aspire to explore independently. To make up for my stupidity, I have to record incessantly by painting in the nature so that I wouldn’t lose myself. As a painter, I try to retain the bits and pieces of memory of life through shapes and colors representing what I’ve seen and felt…and to understand that chaos…

A few thoughts on painting

Myriads of illusion
Born of one origin
Flowers bloom, leaves fall
Hues and shades emerge all
In seeming chaos, order does unfold
Entangled with flesh, life in the world
With closed eyes, our sights darkened
Yet in time, our thoughts enlightened
Only in serenity, wisdom widened.

---梦中人问：什么是看，学画时的看？看什么？
梦中答：看自然周昭世界，悟给于纸从纸中再成世界，悟绘心，心领成看，又一看~

---春的力量乾坤合力的现，撞击我心使之感动，常常因无力表现而遗憾，想表现其实是想留住那山与日的霞光~

--善者美，美而作为有施，则不空虚

---dreamer asks: what does it mean to see when painting, and what to see especially?
He answers in dream: to see the world in nature, thoughts are expressed on canvas, and become nature again in it. Thoughts reflect the heart, you see only when the heart feels, and you’ll see again.

---the exuberance of spring is the manifestation of the synergy of nature, moves my heart by exhilaration, always with regrets due to powerlessness. The will to express, reflects, in fact, the desire to retain the light of mountains and the sun.

---Goodness is beauty, and beauty actualized is not ethereal at all.
