对“态度”的逼问//老金
붉은굴뚝 (오늘의 베이징 중국)
중국 베이징 大山子798예술구에서 10회개인전을 발표하면서
미래는 어김없이 현실을 맞이하고, 현실은 스스로 과거를 만들고있다.
지구촌에 살고있는 모든 인간은 매일매일 반복된 삶속에서 어제와 오늘과 내일을 시간에 연속성과 함께, 사랑하고, 미워하고, 즐거워하고, 슬퍼하고, 때로는 생존의 위기속에서 대자연과 함께 공존하고 있다. 지구촌 ¼에 속하는 거대한 중국은 오늘도 어김없이 에너지를 방출하고있다.
나는 작품속에 이렇게 말하고 있다. 거부할수없는 미래를, 조용히 오늘의 현실속에서 하늘에 구름이 흐르듯이 긍정적으로 받아들이고 있다. 마치 우리 현실이 거대한 용광로의 출입구라면, 엄청난 화력에 의해 모든 에너지가 소멸되면서 굴뚝으로 말없이 소리없이 조용히 연소되어 방출되는 오늘의 중국 현실을 우리들 삶의 일부라고 생각하고 있다.
어쩌면 우리 인간은 죽는그날까지 우리 현실의 삶속에서 많은 에너지를 연소시켜 지구촌 온생명체의 삶과 같이 붉은굴뚝에 연기처럼 조용히 사라지고 있는것이다.
오늘의 중국, 베이징의 붉은굴뚝은 곧 우리들의 삶이고, 지구촌의 미래일 것이다. 지금도 파아란 하늘에 하얀구름이 흐르고있듯이, 붉은굴뚝의 연기는 지속적으로 연소되고 있다.

Red Chimney (Today Beijing China)
Opening the 10th Solo Exhibition at Da Shan Zi 798 Art Zone, Beijing, China
Without fail, the future meets the present, and the present continues to create the past.
Everyone in this global village coexists within the passage of time—the natural cycle of yesterday, today, and tomorrow—living a day-to-day routine of love, hate, happiness, sadness, and sometimes even facing extinction. With a population comprising a quarter of our global village, China continues to exude tremendous energy.
It is precisely this that the artist attempts to express. We welcome the unavoidable future as clouds floating peacefully in today’s reality. If our present reality is the opening of a furnace, all our energy is incinerated by the tremendous heat that is today’s reality of China and quietly and silently released through a chimney that is very much part of our existence.
Much like the smoke from a red chimney, our life’s energy is exhausted until death and combines with that of every living thing only to silently disappear in the end. The red chimney of today’s Beijing, China, is as much part of our life as it is part of the global village’s future. Like a white cloud found floating in a blue sky, the smoke from the red chimney is perpetual.

红烟囱 (今天北京中国)
在北京中国大山子７９８艺术区第十次个人展览
未来遇见现在，现在继续创造着过去，时间完满地循环。地球村的每个人在时光的经过中共存——在昨天，今天和明天中自然轮回——他们生活在一成不变的爱，恨，欢乐，悲伤中，有时面临绝境。中国有地球村四分之一的人口，它不断地散发巨大的能量
这正是艺术家想要表达的。我们迎接未来，它就像空中的浮云，无处躲藏。今日中国的现实是炉火的微光，而我们所有的热将被更大的热吞噬。这热从我们自身存在这一烟囱里静静地默默地释放
像红色烟囱中的轻烟，我们生命的能量慢慢耗尽，并与万物结合，最终悄然消逝在尽头。今天中国，北京的红色烟囱，是我们生命的一部分，也是未来地球村的一部分。就像浮动在蓝天上的白云，红色烟囱飘出的烟飘向永恒。
