【书籍简介】

福柯是一个难以归类的人物：他是一个非历史的历史学家，一个反人本主义的人文科学家，一个反结构主义的结构主义者。福柯的工作涉及好几个领域：历史，哲学，艺术，文学，心理学，社会学；而我专攻社会学，对福柯的理解就有先天不足。但是，我之所以没有能够经受住诱惑，原因是我想通过写这本“解读”，自己好好读一下福柯的书。即使“解读”不出它真正的深度，也可以作为一种“代读”———代替那些想了解福柯又没有精力读他的书的人来读一读福柯，使他们通过我的阅读来了解福柯。或许他们也能像我一样感受到福柯思想的吸引。到那时，他们就会自己去阅读。这正是《福柯与性》这本书的目的之一。

福柯其人精彩，其书也精彩。他的《性史》是一座宝库。读他的书是起码的，了解他的思想是重要的，然而更重要的是学会像他那样看问题，像他那样思考问题，分析事物，最终能够达到自己对事物作出福柯式的分析的境界。

研究做久了，人常常会陷入一个困境：自己可说的话太少了。似乎所有的话都被别人说过了。除了一些经验研究的发现之外，人还能说出些什么是别人不知道的、没想到的、没说过的呢？福柯是一个例外，他说出了别人没说过的话，他发明了与众不同的观点，他对别人翻阅过无数次的档案材料作出崭新的分析，得出完全不同的结论。这是研究的最高境界，是每个有志于研究事业的人应当终身追求的境界。
